Call for Papers! EFA 51st Annual Meeting
The National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) is proud to organize the 51st Annual Meeting of the European Finance Association. The meeting will be held from 21 through 24 August, 2024. The submission deadline is February 1, 2024 (midnight Standard Pacific Time).
- Special sessions: EFA 2024 Bratisalava will offer four special sessions organized with institutional partners:
- Bank for International Settlements (BIS) on Shifts in interest rates and financial system risks.
- European Central Bank (ECB) on Challenges for monetary policy transmission through banks and non-banks.
- National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) on Machine learning methods in finance.
- Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) on Understanding the long-run drivers of asset prices.
- Keynote speaker: Douglas W. Diamond, 2022 Nobel Prize Laureate, Merton H. Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance, the University of Chicago.

Call for Papers: Second Aarhus Workshop on Strategic Interaction in Corporate Financee
The objective of this workshop is to present state-of-the-art academic research on topics related to strategic interaction in corporate finance. There will be one track of presentations over the course of two days, with a small number of papers on the program to allow for ample time for discussions and to create a stimulating environment. Each paper will have a discussant. The workshop will start with a welcome reception on the evening of Sunday August 18, 2024.
