EFA Doctoral Workshop

The one-day EFA Doctoral Workshop (EFA-DW) is organized for PhD students in their second or third year. EFA launched this educational workshop series on New Frontiers in Finance – featuring a different theme topic each year. The EFA-DW is usually held in parallel with the EFA Doctoral Tutorial (EFA-DT) on the same day the EFA Annual Meeting officially starts, preceded the evening before by a networking welcome dinner. During the EFA-DW, research on the selected Finance topic(s) is summarized in lecture presentations by leading professionals, and potential directions for future research are discussed. The aim is to explore lesser-known areas of Finance and provide a solid background for PhD students interested in pursuing research in these fields.

The Doctoral Workhshop will not take place in 2024.
